Shelf / Lateral Files

The 2D lateral shelf file was designed and patented here in Western Australia to vastly improve the effectiveness of colour code indexing.

The file has a unique flap forming an indexing tab that allows 100% visibility of the file index. This feature is enhanced as the file grows in size. The flap provides a double reinforced grab-tab and helps stop the annoying sagging that occurs in standard files.

This file forms the basis for most or our innovative file range. This 2D file range provides capacity for 200 sheets of paper per file and can accommodate any file clip fastener available on the market. It is available in sizes to suit A4 and Foolscap paper.

The Standard 2D lateral file can have the 2D flap and spine printed in one solid colour (14 colours stocked - light blue, dark blue, aqua, pink, yellow, purple, light green, dark green, grey, brown, red, amber, black and orange). This filing system is used to identify specific groups or files within a colour coded indexing system.

The 2D Extra File provides all of the features of the 2D file and has been designed to house a larger capacity of papers (ie: 450 sheets). The 2D Extra File is manufactured from premium heavy-weight board with an all-over laminate applied to the file to improve tear-resistance while slotting into any 2D colour code indexing system. The 2D Extra File can be custom-printed to suit specific filings systems where required.

Building Licence Pocket File
Created in collaboration with local government councils for their specific building licence storage requirements. This new filing innovation allows easy access and convenient storage for in-progress and approved building licence applications including plans and related correspondence.

Designed to fit standard filing racks (425mm deep shelves) and formatted for colour code labeling systems, the Building Licence Pocket File has either a 15mm or a huge 60mm gusset, is laminated for extra strength and can be custom printed.

Concertina File
Essentially the same as the Pocket file but with the ability to expand to 100mm gusset size
